Our team, our mission, and our philosophy
Survival Scripts was founded by Dr. Tyler Metzger, MD, a physician with experience in travel medicine, and is independent and customer-focused — we operate without external investors or parent-company oversight. Our purpose is simple: give people medical tools when regular healthcare access is limited, whether that's a remote trail, a disaster zone, or just a Tuesday without a same-day doctor's appointment.
Your information is transmitted securely through a HIPAA-compliant EHR platform, and we hold physician licenses in 17+ states directly, with contracted coverage across all 50 through Beluga Health. Our pharmacy partner, GoGoMeds, is licensed to fill and ship in all 50 states.
We don't accept insurance, and we think that's a feature, not a limitation — it keeps pricing transparent and keeps a slow approval process out of the way when you're trying to move fast.
